HashHorse

A Farcaster miniapp, a live race experience and the tools needed to operate it.

My role

Founder & full-stack developer

The scope

Miniapp · Live races · Analytics

Project status

Shipped · Now archived

The project, at a glance

The challenge
A social miniapp needs to explain a changing race and its transaction states in very little space.
My contribution
I designed and built the app, backend race logic, wallet integrations and an operational dashboard.
What came out of it
A shipped Farcaster miniapp with supporting operational tools, preserved here as an archived project.

01 / The question behind the work

How do you make a real-time product work inside someone else’s interface?

The constraint

A miniapp lives in a constrained, social context. Race states and wallet actions compete for a small amount of screen space.

The product

A horse-racing experience with selection, wallet interactions and changing live race states.

My contribution

Founder and full-stack developer: interface, backend race logic, smart-contract integration and a separate analytics dashboard.

02 / Design decisions

The thinking
in the details.

Specific choices, connected to the work you can see.

01

Work within the host

The interface fits into the Farcaster environment, using focused views for selection and the race itself.

↳ Miniapp UI
02

Make a changing state visible

The recorded product moves between preparation and the live race. Clear state changes are central to understanding what is happening.

↳ Real-time race
03

Consider the operating side

A separate dashboard makes the product’s operational view part of the implementation. Its demo values are not business-performance claims.

↳ Companion analytics
Constraint

A product designed for the miniapp format.

State

Real-time information drives the experience.

Ownership

Interface, infrastructure and operations.

03 / Connecting the experience

Two sides of one product.

Select a stage to explore its purpose.

The moment

Open the miniapp inside Farcaster.

The design intention

Work within the host’s screen constraints.

With a purpose.

The result

A shipped Farcaster product with a working application and operational tooling, now preserved as an archived case.

A question for the next iteration

How clearly does the interface distinguish a pending wallet action, an active race and a completed result?

Sources & presentation notes +

HashHorse is presented as an archived product. Its backend was shut down on June 1, 2026. Screens and clips are historical product recordings; there is no live betting or wallet connection in this presentation.

The journey diagrams and editorial explanations were prepared for this portfolio from the available project evidence. They are not additional historical research or measured outcomes.
