01 / The question behind the work

A complete product around a one-minute race.

The product challenge

A short race cycle needs a clear sequence: understand the state, choose a participant, watch the outcome and inspect the result. The surrounding product also needs an understandable identity and explanation.

My contribution

Founder ownership across product direction, UX/UI, frontend, gameplay systems, on-chain interactions and ongoing operations, as documented in the career material.

From entry to return

The app connects race entry, prediction choices, Chips, customization and results. The original screens show the product’s interface and state model; the public website carries the same identity into acquisition.

02 / Design decisions

The thinking
in the details.

Specific choices, connected to the work you can see.

01

Make each phase explicit

The app distinguishes predictions open from the running race. A timer and phase label keep a fast-changing experience understandable.

↳ Original prediction and race screens
02

Put the choice beside its meaning

Win, Place and Show explanations sit above the selections, with the available Chips and amount controls nearby.

↳ Original prediction controls
03

Design reasons to return

The home and customization screens connect the core race loop to daily claims, a public handle and owned skins.

↳ Original home and customization UI

ClashHorse
in perspective.

The result

A product spanning experience design, interface development and gameplay systems, selected for the Startale Superstars program on Soneium.

A question for the next iteration

Can a new participant explain the current product phase and find the verification information without confusing roadmap features with available actions?

Sources & presentation notes +

Founder role and current status confirmed by Vincenzo. The $5,000 grant amount follows his latest confirmation, superseding the $10,000 amount in earlier career material. Startale’s January 2026 announcement independently names Clash Horse among the Superstars winners; it does not itemize individual grant amounts. App home, prediction and skins screens render the original source with sample session data and no live transactions. The race image is an exact selection from the original repository screenshot.

The journey diagrams and editorial explanations were prepared for this portfolio from the available project evidence. They are not additional historical research or measured outcomes.
